Defensive Carbine
This class covers the basics of using the AR carbine for defensive encounters. Students begin with safety and gunhandling, the basics of combative marksmanship, and the threat response including shooter movement. Particular attention is paid to the combative mind-set, including environmental awareness and avoidance, and the mental skills required to use the carbine in a violent encounter. (This is not a beginners course. NRA First Steps or equivalent required.)

Carbine II
This course picks up where Defensive Carbine leaves off. After a quick review of the basics the student's skills are refined with intensive drills that include movement, the use of cover, multiple targets and low light training. This course focuses on the mental and physical skills required for combative engagements, of which shooting is a small part. (Defensive Carbine or equivalent required.)

Carbine III
The third carbine course includes various drills that apply skills to realistic drills including low light operations, vehicle defense, and building clearing. To increase realism students are placed in force-on-force scenarios against live adversaries, using airsoft weapons. This course also includes evolutions on close quarters battle skills and retention techniques.

Handgun/Carbine Combatives
This class blends both weapon systems, the pistol and carbine, into one intensive training program.
(Defensive Handgun and Carbine, or equalvilant, are required to participate in this class.)
